What We Offer
We price our hair extension services a bit differently from most salons. Our extensions are offered as a complete package, which includes the hair, professional application, custom cut, and finished style. Each guest also receives a take-home hair care kit, featuring travel-size shampoo and conditioner, a specialty extension brush, a wide-tooth comb, and additional care essentials.
We are happy to remove your Mermaid Hair Extensions at no charge at any time. Consultations are always complimentary, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way. If you have questions beyond this overview, please call us at (770) 977-3696.
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Checks are not accepted. Sales tax is included in all pricing.
Pricing is based on 16” and 20” lengths with a soft body wave. Extra-long lengths, curly, wavy, and specialty textures are available by special order. If you’re unsure which package is right for you, we recommend starting with a free consultation so we can create the perfect plan for your hair goals.

Q. Will extensions damage my natural hair?
A. With proper care and removal our extensions will not damage your hair. In fact, many of our clients find that their hair is longer and healthier after their extensions are removed.
Q. How is the hair attached?
A. We use a few different methods of attachment, including: bonding, tapes and sewing. When you come in for a free consultation we will show you what they are like and recommend which type would be best suited for your hair.
Q. Can you wash your hair?
A. YES! We use 100% human hair. So you can wash, blow dry, curl, flat iron, and style it just as you would on your own hair.
Q. How do you get them out?
A. We will carefully remove any Mermaid Extensions at no charge with a special solution and tools. The cost of removal is included in your initial package price. Non-Mermaid Extension Removal is $150.00
Q. How long do they last?
A. Our Mermaid Tape-Ins Hair can last up to a year with proper care. It is highly recommended that the Re-Applications be maintained every 8 weeks for best results.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. It depends on which extension package that you select. Our complete package prices start at $1295 and go up to $1995.
Q. Can you still color your hair?
A. Yes! You can continue to have your hair colored while extensions are in.
Q. How long does it take?
A. The initial application will take 1-3 hours, depending on which package you choose.
Q. What type of hair do you use?
A. We use ethically sourced 100% remy human hair, the very best quality available.
Q. Will the extensions match my own hair?
A. We are experts in color and texture matching. The extensions will be virtually undetectable in your natural hair.
Q. What sets Mermaid Hair Extensions apart from others?
A. After almost 20 years in business we have perfected the matching, application, and blending of hair extensions. But what makes our hair truly different is our team service culture and training.
Q. I had hair extensions put in someplace else, can you remove them?
A. We would be happy to! We have all different types of bond removers and will carefully and gently take out the extensions and remove any tangles. We will also wash and style your hair for you afterwards. We charge $150 for non-Mermaid removals.
Q. I already bought extensions somewhere else, can you apply them?
A. Unfortunately we can only be responsible for applying hair that we provide. The price of our extension packages include the cost of hair.
Q. Is it difficult to maintain extensions?
A. We will provide you with everything you need including a special brush just for extensions as well as educating you on how to properly care for your extensions at home.
Q. What is included in the Classic Mermaid Packages?
A. Every package includes the cost of the hair, the application, a trim, and styling to blend the extensions into your natural hair, a travel size shampoo and conditioner, a hair extension brush, wide tooth comb, a plastic shower cap, a satin scrunchie, and maintenance instructions.
Q. Are they comfortable?
A. After an adjustment period of 1-2 days, properly applied extensions should not pull, hurt, or cause discomfort in any way.

You may continue to color your hair while wearing extensions. If you plan to receive a color service, we recommend discussing timing with your Mermaid Stylist to determine whether it should be done at the appointment, before or after your extension appointment. Pricing for all color services is listed on the Intrigue service menu.

Schedule Your Appointment
Book your extension appointment with our Mermaid Team, along with a $100 deposit towards your service.
Check our Cancellation policy for a refundable deposit.
Hair Extension Service
Your service appointment will be approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your hair. The service includes clarifying treatment, blow-dry, application, cut, and style. This does not include any color services. .
Love Your New Look
Your Mermaid Stylist will share how to care for your new hair, provide you with a hair maintenance starter kit and you will book your Re-application appointment for 8-weeks. We do recommend purchasing full size products before you leave.
